Welcome to The Mandalorian character list for season two. This list will be organized featuring characters per episode rather than relationship to Mando. Check back each week for updates.
Chapter 9: The Marshal
The Dynamic Duo (Pedro Pascal) – There is no doubt that the dynamic duo is back for Season 2, but how could I not include them? Djarin is seeking other Mandalorians in hopes for them to help find the child’s species and home. The child is still a mystery.
Gamorrean Fighters – These Gamorrean are fighting for sport in this underground looking arena. These guys are most famous for their service as Jabba’s guards; seeing them in action like this goes to show why he chose them.
Gor Koresh (John Leguizamo) – This Abyssin is a mean fellow, but he met a fate he deserved. He hunts down Mandalorian in hiding to take their armor and sell it. It’s a lucrative business; Koresh did well for himself. This time he crossed the wrong Mandalorian.
Peli Motto (Amy Sedaris) – The quirky mechanic is back to help Mando with some repairs and host his ship. She was a great addition to season one and it was nice seeing her and her droids again. They’ve got a pretty strong bond after Mando saved her from that bounty hunter wannabe.
Weequay Bar Owner (W. Earl Brown) – This is an unidentified Weequay who ran the bar in Mos Pelgos, the small rinky-dink town on Tatooine. Are these what Jabba’s old thugs are up to now?
Cobb Vanth (Timothy Olyphant) – The character from the novel Aftermath has been introduced to the screen and in some familiar-looking armor. The self-appointed Marshal of Mos Pelgos took up the responsibility after acquiring some Mandalorian armor that some Jawas pulled out of a Sarlacc pit. Who’s the armor? None other than the infamous Boba Fett.
Tusken Raiders – These Tusken Raiders have been a perfect addition to the show. The insight that we are given about the culture, language, and history is absolutely fantastic. It is really showing how human these Sandpeople are and how the harsh Dune Sea has shaped them into who they are.
Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison) – One of the most iconic character of all time has made a comeback. How he escaped the sarlacc pit? We will surely find out soon, but this bounty hunter didn’t look too happy someone else has his armor. We just got a glimpse of Boba Fett in this episode, so we will surely see more of his story.
Krayt Dragon – We finally get to see the infamous Krayt Dragon in action. We have seen the skeletons laying around Tatooine, but have never gotten a good glimpse at one, but now… now we have seen these bad boys in action and the terror they cause. The Tusken Raiders have studied them for centuries and discovered the weak point is the belly, good thing they had someone like Mando to get that final blow.
