LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Release Date

Long have I waited… The Lego Star Wars newest addition finally has a release date. We have been dying for this to come out and now we can finally anticipate when we can finally jump in and play through all 9 movies.

The news was released by Star Wars on their youtube channel and the date is October 20th, 2020. There was not much other information along with it, but we know for a fact that this game will feature nearly 500 characters from all over the Star Wars galaxy.

We had previously reported on The Mandalorian’s gunship the Razor Crest being a playable ship in the game, once you purchase the physical LEGO set.

The game is reported to have a lot more freedom. Players will be able to enjoy the maps at their own pace and not have to follow such a linear process. Another new aspect is introduced in this game and it is that you will not have to play it in order of the films.

You will be able to hop from Empire Strikes Back, to Revenge of the Sith, and The Rise of Skywalker. This addition will make gameplay much more interesting and free. We still plan on playing the game in order of films, of course.
