The new Star Wars movie that is coming out, The Rise of Skywalker, is creating a lot of buzz with tons of Star Wars leaks coming out about the ending of the film. This is the final installment to the Skywalker Saga and will conclude the story that George Lucas created back in 1977. Disney had struggled with pleasing all the fans with the previous movies that have come out and this final movie will hopefully be their saving grace, which is why the leaks surrounding the film haven’t been entirely true.
The ending of this movie will be everything. The ending to Return of the Jedi was incredible and everyone couldn’t have been happier with George Lucas’ decision for Darth Vader to redeem himself to save his sons life. It was the ultimate redemption, he fulfilled the prophecy, and it had inspired fans for generations. Then Episode III: Revenge of the Sith came out and that ending had a similar effect by flipping the story; we see Anakin die to become Darth Vader and a piece of Obi-Wan Kenobi die with him. It was heartbreaking. Both were a perfect conclusion for each trilogy and both movies also had the epic lightsaber battles too, which is what we got glimpses of in the trailer for the movie.
The ending to The Rise of Skywalker has been shot and recorded, but there are multiple different endings. Disney is an extremely successful company, that’s something that we all know, and they’re smart with what they allow to be released. Especially with something as valuable as the final movie for the Star Wars Skywalker Saga. The leaks surrounding the movie have been diligently released by a marketing team to test fan reactions to what the footage ending leads to. We know that they’re testing 8 different endings and judging from our reactions they’ll insert the final one. The leaks surrounding the movie are causing a lot of discussions and Disney’s plan is working.Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order – PlayStation 4
The leaks that the Disney marketing team has been releasing is not sufficient enough to give away the endings, but it leaves enough for fans to speculate on what they think is going to happen. Hopefully, there will be a huge surprise with the ending of this film and Disney will complete its first attempt at a Star Wars trilogy with an extremely successful movie. We know J.J. Abrams has confirmed that this final movie will answer a lot of questions and that will hopefully appease fans. Do you think we’ll find out who Snoke was? Or does that even matter anymore, since Palpatine is making his grand return? The Skywalker vs. Palpatine struggle returns for the final installment to the Skywalker Saga and it seems like the perfect ending to include the puppet master of the greatest villain of all time. Palpatine created Darth Vader, will he create a new Sith in The Rise of Skywalker?

Rian Johnson hasn’t confirmed that he will be going forth with a whole new Star Wars trilogy that will be different from Luke, Chewbacca, Obi-Wan, C3PO and other characters we know and love, but it seems promising. Disney has deep wallets and it’ll be hard to walk from 3 guranteed movies. Johnson is a talented director and he has a lot to offer, perhaps his own trilogy will be more fitting for his creativity rather than trying to create a movie with someone else’s ideas.
He took a lot of backlash for The Last Jedi and he responded by saying all the negatives comments he received on Twitter had inspired him to created his newest murder-mystery, “Knives Out”. He ended up using that hate and turning it into something postive, so he has a good attitude and doesn’t let the hate overcome him. Yoda would be impressed.
The Rise of Skywalker releases in December and we’re getting so close! It will be exciting to see the finale to the Star Wars Skywalker saga and what they decide to do with it. With the multiple endings they have to offer, hopefully they’ll pick the right one and we can walk out of theatres happy. I have my ticket!
